Welcome to IndieWP ("the Service"). Please read these Terms of Service ("TOS") carefully before using the Service. By signing up for the Service, you agree to be bound by these TOS. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.
The Service is a managed WordPress hosting platform that allows users to sign up and have a fresh WordPress website automatically provisioned for them on their own custom domain. The Service does not provide or register domains, and each domain's hosting is paid for and renewed separately.
Users must already own a custom domain before using the Service. Users are solely responsible for updating their DNS records to point their domains to the Service's web server or have access to relevant expertise to perform the same.
Users sign up for an initial hosting period for a particular domain and pay in advance. The hosting end date for each domain can be renewed at any time for a period of one to twelve months. The Service is prepaid per domain. A renewal notification will be sent via email one week in advance of the end date for any domain.
The Service will suspend the hosting for a domain once the end date is reached, and an email notification will be sent advising of the imminent deletion of the service for that domain, which will occur two weeks after the domain suspension. Domains not renewed by the deletion notification date will be automatically deleted by the Service, along with their associated websites and data.
Each website comes with 1Gb of disk space.
The Service will take reasonable action to backup websites once daily. Requests for restoration of website data must be made via email to our support team.
The Service does not provide email facilities. Users are responsible for securing the services of a third party email service provider to send or receive email from their websites.
Refunds are generally not issued as per our policy. However, users may request a refund under exceptional circumstances, subject to evaluation by the Service.
Users are responsible for developing and maintaining their own websites on the WordPress instances provisioned by the Service. This includes keeping their plugins up to date and ensuring the legality of their website content. The Service is not responsible for the websites created by users or their functionality.
Users are prohibited from using plugins that contain malicious code or could interfere with the hosting service. Additionally, any actions that violate applicable laws, regulations, or the rights of others are strictly prohibited.
The Service does not facilitate direct website file or database access. Users access their WordPress installation through the normal WordPress login interface. The Service does not provide SSH, FTP, file manager, or database manager access.
Users are responsible for their password management and confidentiality. It is essential to keep login credentials secure to protect their websites from unauthorized access.
The Service does not take responsibility for technical issues related to using WordPress itself. Any such issues remain the sole responsibility of the users.
Users can stop using the Service for any particular domain by not renewing its end date.
The Service reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Users will be notified of any changes to these terms via email or other means deemed appropriate.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
